About us
A small shop run by one student, for other students
LJ Study Store sells affordable, tested stationery to university students in Malaysia. It started with RM800 of stock and a TikTok account in 2026.

Our story
I am a final-year e-commerce student in Bangi. Somewhere in my first semester I noticed how much of a student’s week depends on small, cheap objects: a pen that does not skip, a notebook that does not fall apart, a highlighter that does not bleed through the page.
What was available locally was either an overpriced “study aesthetic” set or the cheapest option that broke within a month. So I started sourcing middle-ground supplies, testing them through my own coursework, and selling them at a price that made sense for someone living on a monthly allowance.
Every product on the shelf has been used by me first. If it did not survive a full semester, it never made it into the shop.
Who we serve
University students aged 18 to 25 in Malaysia — especially those who plan their spending carefully and discover products through short videos and live demos rather than traditional advertising. Our customers buy for themselves, for their study groups, and for club events that need supplies at short notice.
Why students choose us
- Honest pricing. RM3 to RM29.90, with bundle savings shown clearly on every product page.
- Tested stock. Nothing is listed before it survives a full semester of my own use.
- Human support. WhatsApp messages are answered within one working day — no bots, no scripts.
- Flexible delivery. Free campus pickup on Wednesdays, or flat-rate courier anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia.
How we work
We buy in small batches from local stationery and packaging suppliers, keep stock at home, and pack orders ourselves. That keeps overheads low, which is exactly what lets the prices stay where they are. As volume grows, the next step is a small shared unit and same-day delivery around Bangi.
